Because Korea has such a transient community and kids grow out of clothes and toys so quickly, it's fairly easy to find cheap or even free items. I am all about getting hand-me-downs or stuff for free. It keeps things out of landfills and teaches children that they don't need to buy stuff all the time.

- Reuse Korea-Freecycle in the ROK: This group was created with the intention of helping anyone and everyone in Korea to reuse or "freecycle" their useable, unwanted items.
- Seoul Mamas
- Seoul Swap: A great way to clean out your closets, get new things, meet new people, and donate items to charity. The second Saturday of January, March, May, July, September, and November.
- Stuff for Sale
- Toy lending library (Some require one of the parents to be Korean, there are exceptions, such as those in Yongsan-gu and Euljiro 1-ga). You usually have to pay a yearly fee of around 10,000 won.

- WINK clothing swaps: Located in Seoul. Happens a few times a year.
